Enrico De Monte
I’m researcher (post-doc) at ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research. My research interests lie in the fields of industrial organisation and applied econometrics.
Topics I have been working on comprise productivity growth, competition, market power, business dynamism, and innovation. Understanding the interrelation between these concepts provides insights to the evolution of an economy in terms of technological change and the process of job creation and destruction, which plays an important role for our standard of living. Contributing to designing efficient policies to support the latter is the ultimate purpose of my research.
