Enrico De Monte

I am researcher at ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research. My research interests lie in the fields of industrial organisation and applied econometrics.

My work focuses on productivity growth, competition, market power, business dynamism, and innovation. Understanding the relationships among these concepts provides valuable insights into the evolution of an economy, particularly with respect to technological change and the process of job creation and destruction, both of which play a cruscial role in shaping our standard of living. Ultimately, my research aims to contribute to the design of effective policies that support economic prosperity, innovation, and job growth.
